CERTIFIED MEDICAL OFFICE MANAGER

PMI Certifies Eighteen MOA Medical Practice Managers
The MOA congratulates all of the graduates of the four-day Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM) course in August who are now certified by Practice Management Institute (PMI).

The CMOM course provides information on the newest business and regulatory issues and teaches students about OSHA, OIG and HIPAA compliance. To attain CMOM certification, all candidates must be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge in financial management, managed care contracting, personnel, and time management. Risk management, medical record keeping and facility management issues must also be mastered.
