ADVOCATES FOR THE MICHIGAN OSTEOPATHIC ASSOCIATION (AMOA)
House of Delegates, 2011
AMOA's annual House of Delegates
assembly is an excellent opportunity for
members to learn what the Advocates are working on throughout the year. It is also a forum to share ideas and programs from around the state that could get
some much-needed support from members.
Fundraising
With AMOA's Scripcents fundraising program, when you purchase giftcards from merchants such as Macy's,
Marshall's, Lands End and others, AMOA recieves a percentage of the purchase.
To participate, use the Not For Profit AMOA code - IDRLRUU. For details, download a flyer or visit the Scripcents Web site.
Projects
AMOA is an affiliate of Advocates for the American Osteopathic
Association (AAOA), which means we are involved with some
amazing projects that extend across the country as well as across Michigan. Checkout the program below or visit AAOA to learn more about what the Advocates are doing to promote and support osteopathic
medicine.
- Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention - This program is a recipient of AMOA's volunteer hours and donated dollars. The State of Michigan has made great strides in opening the doors of our schools to suicide prevention programs by passing Public Act 324, effective July 2006. If you have any questions about this life-saving suicide prevention program or you would like some Yellow Ribbon “Ask 4 Help” cards, please visit www.yellowribbon.org.
