BLUE RIBBON COMMITTEE

Mission
The committee serves as a focal point for involving MOA in discussions of health care reform. The committee also created the format for the 2006 Leadership Retreat discussion that resulted in the MOA “cornerstones” of health care reform:

1. Promotion of Primary Care
2. Enhancement of Patient Responsibilities
3. Development of a Center for Coordinated Health Policy
4. Assurance of Universal Care
5. Patient Safety
6. More Efficient Health Care Financing and Delivery Systems
