| Exhibit Hall | |
| The Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA) was pleased to welcome over 100 exhibitors to this years conference. Products and services included insurance, medical supplies and equipment, billing support, book vendors and other items of interest to our many physician guests. Many practice managers took the opportunity to visit the hall during their session breaks, veiwing ideas on how to save time and money in the practice. MOA took advantage of the large turnout by staffing their own booth, which they used to engage members in completing a brief survey regarding their member benefits. | |

| President’s Banquet | |
Nearly 300 osteopathic physicians, students and supporters turned out to celebrate 2008/2009 MOA President Craig Magnatta, DO, of Troy, for the President’s Reception and Banquet held the evening of Friday, May 16. Dr. Magnatta chose his banquet theme – Whine Not – to spur his colleagues to action in the coming year: ideas are meant for fermentation, not stagnation. Among the highlights of the evening, MDCH Director Janet Olszewski presented Dr. Magnatta with a letter from Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, and Michigan State Rep. James Marleau (R-Lake Orion) presented Dr. Magnatta with a legislative tribute. |
