First Place and $1,000 dollars was awarded to
Karla Witzke, D.O., of Royal Oak, for her poster titled
“Prospective Study of the Impact of Bladder Incontinence
Surgery on Sexual Satisfaction.” Contributors were
Gregory McIntosh, D.O., of Livonia, Jeffrey Schock, D.O. ,
of Livonia, and Amy Opperer Brode, D.O., of Huntington
Woods.


Second Place and $750 was awarded to
Karen Estrine, D.O., of Royal Oak for her poster titled
“Indications for Palliative Care Consultations in the Emergency
Department: Retrospective Study.” Contributors were
Christopher Guyer, M.D., Bindu Vanapalli, M.D.,
Kory London, MS, Robert Zalinski, M.D.


Third Place and $500 was awarded to
Tarek Pacha, D.O., of Sterling Heights for his poster titled
“Clinical Efficacy and Patient Satisfaction of Male Advance
Sling.”


Outstanding Case Report and $250 was awarded to
Monica Maka Nafsou, OMSIV., of Utica, for her poster
titled “Buschke-Lowenstein Tumor with Squamous Cell
Carcinoma.” Contributors were Anthony Ognjan, D.O., of
Mount Clemens, Roy Hanks, D.O., of Macomb, and
Joshua Jones, D.O. of Mount Clemens.


Honorable Mentions were awarded to
Stephen Swetech, D.O. of Clinton Township, for his
poster titled “Sweets Survey of Sugar Supervision from
Head-to-Toe; AKA Diabetes Control from Pinnacle to Nadir”;


and Jeffrey S. Williams, D.O. of Royal Oak for his
multi-media poster titled “The Forgotten Ones.”
