Wadle, D.O., FACOS, of Livonia, was recognized by the Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA) as a Life Professional at its House of Delegates meeting on May 14, 2008. To achieve MOA Life Professional status, a physician must be 70 years or older and have been a member of the association for 35 years or more. The award was presented to Dr. Wadle by MOA President Susan Sevensma, D.O., of Grand Rapids, during the MOA House of Delegates meeting held in conjunction with the MOA 109th Annual Postgraduate Convention and Scientific Seminar at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Michigan. “It has been a great run,” said Dr. Wadle. “The osteopathic profession is one of the fastest growing professions in medicine today,” said Dr. Sevensma. “This is true because talented, dedicated physicians such as Dr. Wadle have laid a strong foundation for its future, exemplifying the benefits of osteopathic medicine to their patients and the public at large. We recognize these physicians as Life Professionals for their longstanding commitment to the profession and the association.” The Michigan Osteopathic Association represents more than 7,000 osteopathic physicians and students and promotes osteopathic medicine in Michigan by shaping the health care delivery system to better serve the community.
