The compliance deadline has passed for the implementation of tamper-resistant prescription pads for all outpatient drugs paid by Medicaid either directly or through secondary or tertiary coverage. “Nonelectronic” written prescriptions are only reimbursable effective April 1 if they are executed on a tamper-resistant pad.
