McKINNEY AWARDED MICHIGAN OSTEOPATHIC ASSOCIATION PRESIDENTIAL CITATION

Dearborn, Michigan— Max T. McKinney, D.O., of Farmington Hills, received a Presidential Citation from the Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA) in recognition of his many years of service to, and support of, the osteopathic profession. He received the citation at the MOA House of Delegates meeting on May 14, held in conjunction with the MOA’s 109th Annual Postgraduate Convention and Scientific Seminar at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Michigan.

“The MOA wanted to acknowledge and thank Dr. McKinney for a career of service to the osteopathic profession which culminated with his recent completion of nine years on the American Osteopathic Association Board. He has given of his time and leadership at the state and national level and this MOA Presidential Citation is formal recognition of his commitment to the betterment the osteopathic profession,” said Susan Sevensma, D.O., 2007\2008 MOA President.

Dr. McKinney received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

Currently, Dr. McKinney is retired from medical practice but remains active in many professional organizations including his new role as president of the Michigan Osteopathic College Foundation.
